  • Nope. Most students start with zero experience.
    We teach fundamentals from the ground up and adjust training to your level.

    Our students range from beginners to experienced martial artists, and from young adults to older adults. You train at your pace.

  • Yes.
    We provide all essential training equipment for beginners, including training weapons and protective gear.

    You only need to bring:

    • Comfortable athletic clothes

    • Water

    • A positive attitude

    As you progress, we can help you choose your own gear if you decide you want it.

  • No.
    We intentionally provide gear so students can explore styles and training before spending money.

    If you later want your own equipment, we provide guidance and recommended vendors such as Purpleheart Armoury and Castille Armory.

  • Not currently.
    Our focus is on historical European martial arts (HEMA), iaido, and lightsaber systems. Olympic fencing is something we hope to add in the future.

  • Most training sessions run about 3 hours, with flexibility depending on the class and student needs.

  • Current schedule:

    • Tuesday–Friday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    • Saturday:

      • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Free open floor / beginner-friendly

      • 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Advanced classes

  • Safety is a core part of how we train.
    We use protective gear, controlled drills, progressive intensity, and clear expectations of respect and control. No one is here to “win.” We’re here to learn well and protect each other while doing it.

    Your first class is free. No pressure, no commitment, no awkward sales pitch.

  • That’s normal.
    Almost everyone walks in feeling unsure. You won’t be judged for being new, that’s literally the point of training.
